With the aim of promoting the agriculture sector as a lucrative business, a profession and a great contributor to growing Fiji’s economy, the Agriculture Show will again be held from today.
While launching the Show, Agriculture Minister Inia Seruiratu said the show is a Career Expo platform to inform our school children, women and our youth that they can make a decent living or career in the agriculture sector.
He said this year farmers will be recognized for their achievements at divisional level.
The Northern Agriculture Show will be held from today till Friday at Subrail Park.
This will be followed by Western Agriculture Show at the Ba Carnival from 4th to 9th August.
The dates for the central division show are yet to be confirmed and the Eastern Agriculture Show will coincide with the Road Show that will take place towards the end of the year.
