Actions speak louder than words and if the young people of Fiji can unite to do things together they can fight and win battles such as the one against climate change.
These were the sentiments shared by Miss Super Drug Pharmacy, Christine Prasad who is one if the 12 contestants vying for the Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus crown.
The 20-year-old USP student believes that climate change can also affect our rights.
Meanwhile tonight is Bogi ni itaukei and Vude night at the Vodafone Hibiscus festival and some of the awards that will be given out tonight include, Miss Internet award, Miss People’s Choice and Miss Personality.
The first award in the Queen contestants category, the Best Research Topic was won by Miss Suva City Council, Simran Nand while Miss Fiji Society for the Blind sponsored by Auto Care, Jessica Fong won the Best Sarong Award.
