One of the five people involved in a road accident on Sunday in Yaqara has been airlifted overseas.
They were admitted in hospital after they sustained serious injuries in a road accident at around 7pm in Yaqara when a government vehicle going towards Tavua hit an animal, went on to the opposite lane and collided with an oncoming vehicle.
The driver and a passenger of the government vehicle remain admitted at the Tavua Hospital while the driver of the other vehicle has been airlifted overseas.
