A new study in the US has linked attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder to all the time kids are spending staring at screens.
It is raising new questions about how much is too much and when limits need to be set.
Researchers in the US have found a statistically significant link between heavy tech use and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder or ADHD.
NBC News says the Journal of the American Medical Association tracked 2,500 teenagers over 2-years and found that those most addicted to social media sites were 53% more likely to develop attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder.
It said those who frequently text were 23% more likely.
