A single text message was all it took to seal the deal for 22-year-old Maraia Lewanitokalau who has won 2 tickets to an Ariana Grande Concert in New Zealand next month.
The second year University student says that she had to sneak her uncle’s phone to send the text into the FM 96 A-reaction competition.
Lewanitokalau had hoped as did many that entered the competition that she would win and have the chance to watch the Dangerous Woman Singer live in action.
She says she cried when she received the phone call from FM96 Programmes Director and Breakfast Show host Tony Rahiman letting her know that she had won and she could not believe the news.
Lewanitokalau says she had planned to take her mother but due to family commitments, she will be accompanied by her cousin.
The two will leave on the 1st of next month and will return on the 19th.
The FM 96 A-reaction competition which was sponsored by Fiji Airways and Niranjans ran for a month on FM 96 and was drawn last week.
The prize also include $1,000 spending money.
The Ariana Grande concert will be held on the 2nd of next month in Auckland, New Zealand.
Fiji Airways Business Development Executive Felicia Verma says that they are glad to be part of the FM 96 A-reaction competition and they are looking forward to sponsoring similar competitions in the future.
Meanwhile, Fiji Airways is also sponsoring the LegendFM Lionel Lyrics competition which will be drawn on the 31st of this month where the winner will also be taking a friend to the Lionel Richie concert held in New Zealand in October.
