94 Students have graduated from the Fiji National University’s Labasa Campus.
These students were from the College of Engineering, Science and Technology, College of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, and the College of Medicine, Nursing & Health Sciences.
Fiji National University Chancellor, Ikbal Janiff highlighted that the government has allocated $6 million dollars in the budget for the extension of the FNU Labasa campus.
He adds that there is a need to expand the existing campus as the number of intakes are increasing.
Meanwhile, it was a proud moment for couple Avnit and Arti Prasad as they both graduated from the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.
Both Prasad’s have accomplished their dreams of upgrading their qualification from a diploma to a degree level.
They both say it was a difficult three year journey but it was all worth it in the end.
