Nine US election experts are part of the Multinational Observer Group that will observe the 2014 general elections.
According to the US Embassy, four of the nine US experts were accredited by the Fiji Elections Office while the remaining five observers will join the Multinational Observer Group early next week.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Coordinator of the Multinational Observer Group, Tim Bryson said 70 observers have so far been accredited by the Fiji Elections Office and they are now waiting for the accreditation of 21 more observers.
He said all the 70 observers are currently monitoring the pre-polling around the country.
