A total of 84 bus shelters will be constructed by the Fiji Roads Authority around the country in the next seven months.
This has been confirmed to Fijivillage after concerns were raised on inadequate bus shelters along Princes Road especially in the Tacirua areas.
The Fiji Roads Authority says a bus shelter will be built at Tacirua Primary School and two bus shelters will be placed at Khalsa Road and Sakoca Junctions.
Roads Authority says that they have received a lot of suggestions from people around Fiji with regards to the building of bus shelters.
The Authority says that priority has been given to areas that are mostly in front of schools and health centres.
FRA adds that they will also be replacing the old bus shelters with new ones.
