There are currently 8 beggars from around the country that are under the Fiji Rehabilitation Centre for Beggars.
Nazarene Church District Superintendent Reverend Kafoa Muaror said one of the beggars will be starting work at Goodman Fielder tomorrow while another man will be returning to his home in the Western Division.
Muaror said when the beggars are brought, they are counseled for a few weeks after which they are involved in different fields including poultry farming, vegetable farming and carpentry.
He said so far they have had about 16 beggars at the centre out of which about 8 are involved with some sort of income earnings.
