Seven people are in police custody after they were allegedly found in possession of items worth $6,000 that were stolen last month from Vitogo, Lautoka.
They were taken in for questioning by the Western Division Task Force Team which has been investigating the burglary case.
Divisional Police Commander West and Acting Senior Superintendent of Police Abdul Khan says aggravated robberies and burglaries will continue to take place if criminals have a market for these stolen items.
He says the focus on the receivers is a major component of their investigations and they want to send a strong message to the supporters of these illegal acts.
