7 contestants vying for the Miss Riverside Crown

Seven contestants will be vying for the Miss Riverside Crown as the Vodafone Ba Riverside Carnival kick starts this Wednesday at the Ba Market Grounds.

Speaking to Fijivillage, Ba Riverside Carnival Committee Public Relations Officer, Dr Maria Doton says that the Queens first public judging will be on Thursday.

She says the four day carnival will be an opportunity for the contestants to showcase what they hope to advocate on and prove they have what it takes to represent the people of Ba.

Doton has also reveled all the prizes for the contestants will be awarded on the same night as the crowning of Miss Ba Riverside will be on Saturday night at the Ba Market Grounds.

These awards include, Miss Photogenic, Miss Charity, Miss Personality, Best Sarong, Best Talent and the Best Research Award.

Miss Ba Riverside will go on to represent Ba in the Miss Fiji Pageant that will be held next month.

Miss Ba will be joined by the six other confirmed contestants including, Miss Lautoka, Seini Vukivuki , Miss Suva Jessica Fong, Miss Nadi Kirisitiana Uluwai, Miss Nausori Natasha Lal, Miss Nasinu Esther Vateitei and Miss Labasa Naima Shazmeen.
