52 women will have their Fijian Crafted' licenses renewed while 66 women will be receiving their Fijian Crafted' licenses for the first time at this year’s National Women’s Expo.
The Fijian Crafted' license enables artisans to have their crafts come under the brands that include, Fijian Made, Fijian Product, Fijian Packed, Fijian Crafted, Fijian Designed and Fijian Sewn.
This was highlighted by Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Women, Dr Josefa Koroivueta adding that through the expo that more than 300 women have received Fijian Crafted' licenses.
Meanwhile, a total of 340 women from across the country and a delegation of 20 women from Tonga will be showcasing and selling their handicraft at the National Women’s Expo at the FMF Gymnasium.
Koroivueta says that the women’s expo enables women to use their talent to sustain them and their families adding that the sales of their handicraft help improve their livelihoods.
The National Women’s Expo is currently being held at the FMF Gymnasium till Saturday.
