Six hundred and forty-seven people have been diagnosed with HIV/AIDs till the 30th September this year.
Minister for Health, Jone Usamate says there are a number of new cases of HIV and it has slowly increased over the years owing to increased awareness for testing.
Usamate says there is also an increased opportunity for screening through antenatal clinics and also during festivals or events.
He says that members of the public can test for HIV at divisional hospitals and some sub-divisional hospitals.
