57 cases of teenage pregnancies have been recorded in the first three months of this year.
According to the Child Services Unit of the Ministry for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, 35 cases of teenage pregnancies were recorded in March, 12 in February while 10 cases are from January.
Sexual abuse is second on the list as 38 cases were recorded for the first three months.
25 cases of physical abuse and 22 cases of child neglect was also recorded for the first three months.
Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Rosy Akbar says they are creating awareness and will be working with enforcement agencies.
