Commissioner Western, Manasa Tagicakibau has confirmed that flood waters continue to rise in Tavua.

Tavua Town is flooded.

Police have confirmed that a team of police officers have gone to survey the areas around Nabuna, Yaladro and Nadelei road.

54 people are currently sheltering at Toko Primary School in Tavua.

Kings Road between Ba and Tavua at Natawa Bridge is closed to traffic.

The Fiji Roads Authority confirms that Kings Road at Tavua Town is closed to all traffic as Tavua Bridge is under water.
