Close to 52,000 people have been affected by the dry weather condition in the Western Division since last year.
National Disaster Management Office says they are continuously supplying water to the affected people.
Director, Akapusi Tuifagalele says they have already supplied 19 million litres of water which includes distribution in the maritime areas.
Divisional Planning Officer Western, Sitiveni Tavaga says they have identified some areas in Sigatoka, Nadi, Ba and Tavua where 10,000 liter water tanks will be installed.
He says so far 46 water tanks have been allocated for the interior areas.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Northern, Jovesa Vocea says they have received another $100,000 to supply water to the affected areas in the Macuata District.
Vocea says they have already distributed close to 10 million liters of water to more than 10,000 people.
He says they are concentrating on schools in the interior and maritime areas.
