The 50‑year‑old man who allegedly stabbed his defacto wife in their rented apartment in Suva on Monday will be charged later today.
Police Spokesperson, Naina Ragigia says they will determine the man’s charges after the 33-year-old receptionist’s post mortem is done today.
The incident happened after they had an argument.
The 33‑year‑old woman was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police are treating the case as murder while the man is still in police custody.
