The products of 50 women artisans' will receive the 'Fijian Crafted' certification from the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Trade this Friday.
1,400 women artisans had participated in 13 Provincial Craft Shows to exhibit their products.
Minister for Women, Mereseini Vuniwaqa says that through these craft shows, 500 women had been selected by experts from the Ministry of Health and the Fiji Arts Council to participate at this national level event.
The Minister says many of these women who are participants of the Expo were not left with sufficient natural resources to work with.
She says some were also victims of Tropical cyclone Winston and had to focus all their time and efforts in rebuilding their lives and their families.
Vuniwaqa says the main aim is to provide an opportunity for women to network, market and secure products for orders.
