Two juveniles and three adults have been charged with aggravated burglary and theft for their alleged involvement in a number of house break-ins in Nakasi.
They appeared in the Nasinu Magistrates Court and have been remanded in custody.
Police have since managed to recover some of the stolen items which include laptops, mobile phones, brush cutters, shoes and a safe.
The incidents occurred in February and March and the five are alleged to have been involved in a total of 11 reports of house break-ins.
Police are requesting people not to accept or purchase items they believe to be stolen as they could also be charged with the offence of receiving stolen items.
