The fourth prosecution witness in the trial of the 27-year-old man of Nausori who allegedly raped his 21-year-old male cousin in 2014 has today said in court that he had seen love bites and scratch marks on the victim’s neck and shoulders.
He told the court that he was drinking with a group of boys after his brother’s wedding at his home in Nausori.
He revealed that the accused had allegedly behaved strangely towards the victim where he had taken off his trousers and danced in front of the victim.
The witness said that the group of boys including the accused and the victim were then drinking at a house less than 30 steps away from his house.
The witness told the court that the victim told him what had happened to him on the following day.
The third prosecution has said that her brother had told her of the incident and she had then told her mother about it.
The victim who is now 25-years-old told his sister who was giving evidence today that he was sexually abused by four of his relatives.
The trial continues before High Court Judge Justice Riyaz Hamza.
