484 plants believed to be marijuana uprooted in Tailevu

484 plants believed to be marijuana have been uprooted from a farm located in Nabulini Village, Wainibuka in Tailevu during phase 3 of Operation Sasamaki.

Chief Operations Officer ACP Rusiate Tudravu said two people are now in custody for their alleged involvement in the cultivation of marijuana.

Meanwhile, Tudravu said they are still looking for a suspect who has been evading Police since January 2014 when a drug raid was conducted on his farm at Delasese Settlement where more than 70 plants believed to be marijuana were uprooted.
