Twenty-nine final year and 13 third year physiotherapy students of the Fiji National University will be live in action providing medical help to players participating in the Fiji Bitter Marist Sevens this year.
The organizers of this event and the university have been working together for 11 years and say they are glad in providing a platform for these physiotherapists to train, experience, enhance and develop their character in the profession they have chosen to do.
Marist Club President Lawrence Tikaram says when on the field, player welfare and safety is a priority which would be taken care of by these physiotherapists.
A total of 200 games, 1600 athletes, 64 teams and 6 under 20 teams will take part in this competition.
