41 Asian fishermen involved in a brawl still being held in Police Station

41 Asian fishermen who were involved in a brawl at the Kings Wharf are still being held at the Totogo Police Station.

Police Spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri says they are yet to determine what had caused the fight at the wharf yesterday morning.

Meanwhile, a 39-year-old Asian fishermen who was allegedly stabbed in the brawl remains admitted in serious condition at the CWM Hospital.

We have received information that a number of fishermen were using knives during the brawl.

Investigations continue.
