Police have confirmed that the four people in custody in relation to the major drug bust at Denarau yesterday afternoon are expatriates from French Polynesia.
At this stage of the investigation, Police have not determined if any locals are involved.
13 bars of cocaine weighing 15 kilograms and ecstasy tablets with an estimated value of $10 to 15 million US dollars was seized by the authorities.
It is also confirmed that US$15,000 undeclared currency, guns and ammunition were detained from the yacht.
The seize was done through a joint operation by the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service, Police, Biosecurity Authority of Fiji and Health Department.
The Fiji Revenue and Customs Service says the yacht came from Borabora, French Polynesia.
The yacht has been seized and will be forfeited to State.
