Four new medium sized coach buses worth $2.5 million will be in Fiji before Christmas.
Tourist Transport Fiji Manager, John Hirdaker said the 28 seater buses will be designed to suit Fiji’s environment.
He said the buses will start operating in routes around Suva, Lautoka and Denarau early next year.
A Chinese based company, YuTong has done the manufacturing and the coach buses are designed using the German and US technology.
Meanwhile, six new coach buses worth more than $2 million were brought in earlier this month.
