The Suva Magistrates Court has fined four more people $200 each for smoking in a public place.
The Ministry of Health booked Sitiveni Dakunimata, Janendra Prasad, Filomena Likuvalu and Jijiwa Kuruvaki and took the matter to court.
Bench warrants were issued against the four as they failed to appear in court.
Another man Isaia Tuita who failed to appear in court yesterday is also charged with Smoking in a Public Place.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health confirmed that last year 179 people around the country were booked for smoking in a public place.
In addition, 39 people were booked for sale of single roll, 43 booked for Failure by Owner to Ensure No Smoking Sign is displayed and ensure no one smokes in public place.
Ministry said fines for these offences are $1000.
Under the Tobacco Decree 2010, no smoking zones are common public places like market, bus stands, amusement centers, internet shops and restaurants.
