4 men plead not guilty to the alleged rape of two women

Four men who allegedly raped two women in Tailevu have pleaded not guilty.

Wame Baleimakogai, Napolioni Loloma, Luke Sorovakatini and Sanjay Lal are each charged with one count of rape.

Lal is also charged with assault with intent to commit rape.

They appeared before Suva High Court Judge Justice Salesi Temo.

The alleged incident happened on 9th October last year.

Their bail has been extended and the case will be called on 26th of next month.
