The third accused charged in relation to the discovery of bullets in Vuda Marina appeared in the Lautoka Magistrates Court this afternoon.
46-year-old Vijay Singh of Kermode road, Lautoka has been charged with being in possession of arms and ammunition without a license.
Divisional Prosecuting Officer West Anil Prasad told the court that Singh is a mechanic and it is alleged that his t-shirt was found with the bullets inside a bag.
Singh has been remanded in custody and the matter has been adjourned to the 23rd of this month.
Meanwhile, the owner of HyperChem Pharmacy, Aiyaz Mohammed Mussa Umarji and his Manager, Naushad Ali have also been charged with being in possession of arms and ammunition without a license.
They appeared in the Lautoka Magistrates Court yesterday.
The court was told that they were allegedly in possession of 179 live M16 centre fire cartridge on the 1st of this month.
Umarji and Ali have also been remanded in custody.
The bullets were discovered in a yacht at Vuda Marina in Lautoka last Sunday.
