A 3.9 magnitude earthquake struck 10km north northwest of Wakaya at 12.12pm today.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 6km.
The Mineral Resources Department says it was a minor event and people between the Suva-Nausori corridor and Sawani would have felt the tremor.
This earthquake poses no threat of a tsunami.
Ian Underwood of Vunivivi Hill in Nausori told Fijivillage that the tremor was stronger than the one they experienced on Sunday and it lasted for around six seconds.
Underwood says they were inside the house when he saw the TV and fan shaking while the radio nearly fell off the edge of the table.
