38 law graduates from the University of the South Pacific were admitted to the Bar today as new Legal Practitioners.
While granting their petitions for admission to the Bar, Chief Justice Anthony Gates congratulated the graduates and says that there were many obstacles and difficulties along the way.
Gates emphasized on the importance of giving back to society and says that people sometimes talk glibly of social responsibility but deliver their helpful good deeds with a glazed eye and with no intent registered.
Judicial officers from various courts were also present on the bench to witness the admission as the Chief Justice thanked the families of all counsels before closing the ceremony.
