35 people booked in first 3 months for illegal sale and use of tobacco

Minister for Health Jone Usamate.
35 people have been booked in the first three month this year for illegal sale and use of tobacco products.
162 people were prosecuted for similar offences last year.
Majority of the offences included smoking in public places and the sale of single cigarette rolls.
Minister for Health Jone Usamate says the Ministry will not tolerate Tobacco related offences and offenders will be taken to task.
