332 dengue fever cases recorded from January this year

The Ministry of Health has recorded 332 cases of dengue fever from January this year.

The Ministry also highlighted that there have been 55 confirmed cases of Chikungunya in the country from January.

The number of Zika virus cases remain at 17 from last month.

Minister for Health, Jone Usamate earlier said that they have just launched a National Clean Up Campaign that will ensure that they have a proactive national effort to be able to eradicate the Zika virus.

Usamate is urging people to clean up their surroundings and eradicate all mosquito breeding grounds.
