31yr‑old Nasinu man found guilty of raping his ex‑wife to be sentenced today

A 31‑year‑old Nasinu man that was found guilty of four counts of raping his ex‑wife by High Court Judge Justice Riyaz Hamza will be sentenced today.

It was earlier heard in court that the man was raping his ex‑wife almost every night from 30th November, 2015 to 4th January, 2016.

While delivering his judgement, Justice Hamza said the man had served two jail terms because he breached the conditions of the Domestic Violence Restraining Order.
