19 people have been charged with a total of 31 separate incidents of serious sexual offences in November.
The Director of Public Prosecutions Christopher Pryde said the offences consist of 23 rape cases, 1 case of assault with intent to commit rape, 2 cases of indecent assault, 3 cases of defilement and 2 cases of sexual assault.
There were 13 victims of rape.
Of the 13, seven were under the age of 18 years.
Of the 7, five were below the age of 18 years and two were below the age of 12 years.
Two rape cases were discontinued before the courts.
There was one case of child rape where the victim was eight years old.
There was one case of rape where both the victim and the accused were male.
Of the 23 cases of rape, there were two cases of rape involving a domestic relationship - one case was in relation to a stepdaughter and a stepfather while the other was an uncle and his niece.
