Two raids were conducted in Taveuni where almost 30 plants believed to be marijuana were found.
The first raid was conducted at Momici Settlement at 6am where a 44-year-old’s farm was raided.
24 plants believed to be marijuana were uprooted by Police.
In the second incident, a team raided a 34-year-old’s farm and uprooted 5 plants believed to be marijuana.
Both suspects were arrested and interviewed while police are now awaiting the analysis report.
Meanwhile, a 29-year-old was arrested at the Vunisea Jetty, Kadavu, following information received that he was allegedly in possession of drugs.
The dried leaves were seized and have been sent for analysis while investigations continue.
