Thirty people are still in Christchurch hospital and nine are in intensive care as a result of the terrorist attack in two mosques last Friday.
In a briefing today, Canterbury District Health Board Chief Executive David Meates says a 4‑year‑old girl is in critical condition and her father who is in stable condition had been transferred to Auckland.
Fifty people died as a result of the attacks.
Meanwhile, Australia is open to bringing home the accused terrorist behind the Christchurch mosque massacre if he is convicted of the mass shooting attack.
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is exploring the possibility of deporting Brenton Tarrant after he faces trial.
