30 new participants from different organisations across the country were introduced to the Leadership Fiji Programme last night.
In his opening address, Leadership Fiji Chairman, William Parkinson says that over the years they have had challenges with the many applications received.
Parkinson says this identifies the willingness from individuals and organizations to create good leadership within their space.
Meanwhile, member of the World Banks Groups Inspection Panel and former Fiji Human Rights High Commissioner Imrana Jalal in her keynote speech encouraged the participants to be the voice of those that do not have any.
20 participants that participated in 2016 also received their certificate last night.
Leadership Fiji has also welcomed Fiji Water as one of their newest sponsors as they have given $45,000 to the programme.
