30 children diagnosed with cancer were today hosted to the WOW’s Kids Christmas party at the Holiday Inn in Suva.
WOW’s Kids Christmas Party was hosted by the Smart family from Australia.
A family member, Kimberlie Smart stated that the family has invested much of their life in making children who are living with life threatening conditions live a happy and prosperous life.
Kimberlie Smart highlighted that from the 30 children, 10 are from Lautoka Hospital while 20 are from the CWM Hospital.
She adds that there were a series of events for children today which included face paintings, nail pampering and cupcake decorating.
Smart says Pacific Air Art and Craft gifted them with helicopter rides which the children really enjoyed.
Smart stated that because most of the children are staying in hospitals they have bought a Lenovo tablet for each child with games already downloaded in the tablets.
Smith says that some of their donors such as MHCC, Westpac and Carpenters Finance have provided gift packs and hampers which will be given to the children.
