Three passengers were rushed to the Lautoka Hospital for treatment after a head-on collision between a van and a truck in Viseisei, Lautoka along Queens Road.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro has confirmed that all three passengers were under the influence of alcohol.
Naisoro says that the minivan was driven by a 27-year-old of Field 40 in Lautoka and was on his way to Nadi from Lautoka when he allegedly veered onto the opposite lane that hit a truck driven by a 43-year-old man of Wainadoi, Navua.
She adds that the driver of the van was also believed to have been under the influence of alcohol and Police investigations continue.
