Three men are in custody after three separate raids were conducted by officers at the Savusavu Police Station yesterday.
A 34-year-old man was arrested after a raid in Naqere, Savusavu.
He was found with sachets, branches and leaves believed to be marijuana.
A man was also arrested after seedlings and plants believed to be marijuana were found on his farm in Viani.
The third raid was conducted in Karoko and a 22-year-old man was arrested after plants believed to be marijuana were uprooted from his farm.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro has also confirmed that a raid conducted by officers from the Nabua Police Station in Vatuwaqa yesterday led to the arrest of a 28-year-old man.
The man was found with dried leaves believed to be marijuana.
Naisoro says the seized plants and materials will be sent for analysis as investigations continue.
