Three men who are charged in relation to the discovery of bullets in Vuda Marina earlier this month have been released on bail.
The owner of Hypercam Pharmacy, Aiyaz Mohammed Mussa Umarji, his Manager, Naushad Ali and 46 year old Vijay Singh appeared in the Lautoka Magistrates Court today.
They have each been released on $5,000 cash bail.
They have also been told to follow strict bail conditions which include that they report to the Lautoka Police Station everyday Wednesday and Saturday, they should not interfere with witnesses and not to re-offend while on bail.
The court also imposed a curfew on them between 6pm to 6am.
It is alleged that Umarji and Ali were in possession of 179 live M16 centre fire cartridge on the 1st of this month.
It is also alleged that Singh’s t-shirt was found with the bullets inside his bag.
The bullets were discovered in a yacht at Vuda Marina in Lautoka.
The case has been adjourned till the 20th of March.
