3 dead and 3 still admitted after an accident in Sigatoka

3 people aged 57, 85 and 46 have lost their lives and 3 are admitted at the Lautoka Hospital after they were involved in an accident involving a twin cab and a private vehicle in Batiri, Sigatoka yesterday.       

Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police, Maretino Qiolevu has confirmed that the driver of the twin cab was drunk.

The man who is 56 years of age is in police custody and has not been charged yet.

The road death toll stands at 16 compared to 15 for the same period last year.
