Three Fijian students who are currently studying in Bengaluru, India have been told to remain indoors after targeted attacks by locals on African looking students.

One of the students has told Fijivillage that the students are worried about their safety as the locals are targeting anyone who looks like an African national.

India Today is reporting that African students have been targeted in Bengaluru after some Sudanese nationals were involved in a hit and run case resulting in the death of a woman over the weekend.

According to the police, the local residents set fire to two cars belonging to the African students, who studied in local colleges in the area.

It is alleged that the Sudanese students tried to flee from the scene of accident and the local residents caught them.
