29-year-old, Selina Draunivesi of Waiyavi Lautoka appeared in the Lautoka Magistrates Court this afternoon charged with a count of harboring a prisoner at large.
Draunivesi is the defacto partner of escapee Josaia Leone who surrendered himself to the Western Division Taskforce team.
Draunivesi allegedly harbored Leone since his escape from police custody last month.
Police say information was gathered that the two were staying in a cave up in the Saru Hills.
Police Prosecutor had strongly objected to bail while Draunivesi had made an application for bail saying she is pregnant.
Draunivesi has been remanded in custody and the matter will be called for plea on the 20th of this month.
