2,766 drivers have been booked by the Speed Light Cameras this year throughout Fiji by the Land Transport Authority.
Spokesperson Iliesa Sokia said 60 percent of these bookings were done from the Western Division alone.
He said most of the drivers caught speeding were PSV drivers including Taxi or Minivan drivers.
He said these drivers were caught speeding on the cameras and have been sent infringement notices.
He added they have officers on the ground to monitor these drivers as most of them are caught with repeated offences.
