The Fiji Performing Rights Association has paid out a total of $266,094 as royalties for last year to 748 members.
FPRA Chairman Eremasi Tamanisau says they have also declared that the royalty payment for 2016 will be $200,000.
He says the drop in amount is simply due to the effects of Tropical Cyclone Winston.
Tamanisau says they are continuing to advocate people on buying, playing and supporting local music.
Meanwhile, FPRA elected Seru Serevi and Laisa Vulakoro as its two new Directors during the Annual General Meeting today.
