It will be a joyous day for about 25 families of Links Lane 25 in Ba as the water works done to provide them with clean and consistent drinking water will be commissioned tomorrow.
This will benefit about 150 people.
A spokesperson for the Water Project Dhirendra Singh they were receiving dirty and inconsistent supply of water for the last 10 years.
He says water supply in the area worsened after Tropical Cyclone Winston and Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama on his visit to the area had promised to fix the problem.
The project has been completed by the Water Authority of Fiji and will be commissioned by Minister for Local Government, Infrastructure Parveen Bala.
