A 24-year-old unemployed man drowned in Fresh water lake in Momi last Wednesday afternoon.
Police confirmed the 24-year-old man went with nine other people for fishing and few minutes after they reached their destination, he jumped into the lake.
Police said according to an eye witness the man struggled to swim.
Three men dove into the lake to assist the 24-year-old however they were not able to find him.
His body was discovered the next day.
