A 22-year-old student is the latest victim on our roads.
Police say the student who was hit by a carrier on the 20th of this month passed away at the Lautoka Hospital on Thursday.
The victim was involved in an accident at Sabeto Village at about 5.40pm and the carrier was driven by a 39 year old.
The 39-year-old has since been charged with one count of Dangerous Driving Occasioning Death and was produced at the Lautoka Magistrates Court.
The case will be recalled on the 5th of January, next year.
