A two-year-old boy has passed away after a tragic accident in Tavua Town.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the boy who was travelling with one of his parents, had stuck his head out of a bus window and hit a lamp post.
He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The road death toll is now 54 compared to 47 for the same period last year.
